Erickson was a two-sport stand-out for the Beavers, earning four letters in basketball and two more in softball.  On the court, she played on two IIAC Championship teams (1995 and 1996), while also earning First Team All-Conference accolades both years, in addition to Honorable Mention All-American honors in 1996.  She led the team in rebounding, blocked shots and steals as both a freshman and sophomore and was voted by her teammates as the Defensive Player of the Year following her freshman campaign.  As a sophomore, her 228 rebounds for the year is still the seventh-highest single-season total in school history.  As a team, the Beavers turned the corner during her junior season going 18-7 overall (12-4 IIAC) to capture the first of two straight league championships.  After averaging just under 10ppg in each of her first two years, Erickson led the Beavers as a junior with a career-high 15.0ppg.  She finished her career by scoring 14.9ppg as a senior, while again surpassing 200 rebounds (220), to go along with 25 blocks and a career-high 53 steals.  To this day, she remains the program's career leader in rebounds with 854, as only one other player in the program's history has even reached 800.  She's also on the program's top-10 career list for points (1,211; 10th), steals (196; 6th), and blocks (99; 3rd).  On the diamond, Erickson was also a two-time letterwinner in softball and played on an IIAC Championship team as a sophomore.  As a freshman in 1993, she played in 32 games and hit .365 with 19 RBI and 15 runs scored as the team finished 30-8 overall (11-1 IIAC).  As a sophomore, she went on to hit .317 with 14 RBI as BVU went 33-5 on the year (12-2 IIAC).  Erickson, who graduated with a degree in marketing, currently serves as a Marketing Director for Dell and lives in Chicago, Ill.
