Coe is most remembered for her time on the softball diamond for BVU where she was a four-time letterwinner, three-time All-American, three-time First Team All-Iowa Conference selection, and a starter for a program which posted 117 victories over four years, including a school-record 33 in 1994. Â She played on three IIAC Championship teams (1992, 1994 and 1995), two Regional Championship teams (1992 and 1994) and the NCAA National Runner-up team in 1992. Â She set IIAC records for batting average in 1993 and RBI in 1995. Â During her sophomore season in 1993, she led the team and posted career-highs in average (.476), double (13), runs scored (42) and struck out only twice in 117 at-bats. Â She remains the program's single-season record holder for stolen bases (17 in 1994) and is tied atop the list in runs scored and doubles. Â In addition to her time on the field, Coe was also a four-time letterwinner in volleyball and was a Second Team All-conference selection as a senior. Â She remained the last all-conference selection for the program until 2003. Â Coe currently works as the Associate director of Admissions at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minn., a position she has held since 1999. Â In addition, she remains active in softball by serving as a volunteer hitting instructor for St. Peter 13-and-under teams.
