Buena Vista University has a rich tradition in athletics, and every year the University pays tribute to a new selection of those student-athletes, coaches, and teams who helped make that tradition so rich. Students, alumni and friends of BVU salute our inductees and their outstanding athletic accomplishments.

Hall of Fame Nominations

Any Buena Vista student-athlete, coach, athletic director, or support staff who is eligible to be a candidate for the Hall of Fame. We value your input and invite you to nominate someone who has made an impact on Beaver athletics.

2026 BVU Athletics Hall of Fame Announced

STORM LAKE, Iowa (June 12,  2026) -  The Buena Vista University Athletics Hall of Fame Committee is pleased to announce its Class of 2026 which will be enshrined during a banquet in Siebens Forum on campus on Friday, Oct. 2.

Members of the 2026 Hall of Fame class include: Bill Naughton ’86 (Men’s Golf), Dail Fellin ’88 (Men’s Wrestling), Michael Irvin ’05 (Football & Men’s Wrestling), Head Coach Janet Berry (Women’s Basketball, Golf and Volleyball) and both the 1979 and 1980 Men’s Golf Teams.
