Buena Vista University has a rich tradition in athletics, and every year the University pays tribute to a new selection of those student-athletes, coaches, and teams who helped make that tradition so rich. Students, alumni and friends of BVU salute our inductees and their outstanding athletic accomplishments.

Any Buena Vista student-athlete, coach, athletic director, or support staff who is eligible to be a candidate for the Hall of Fame. We value your input and invite you to nominate someone who has made an impact on Beaver athletics.

Beaver Legends Inducted into Athletics Hall of Fame

STORM LAKE, IOWA (Sept. 28, 2024) – Buena Vista University Athletics inducted five individuals and one team into the Athletics Hall of Fame as its Class of 2024

Keven Besch ’87, Mike Wilson ’92, Rick Schweitzberger ’00, Jennifer (Lange) Mavis ’02, and Brad Blum ‘11 joined the 2004 BVU women’s basketball team as the newest members to be formally enshrined into the BVU Athletics Hall of Fame during Homecoming/Hall of Fame weekend on Sept. 27-28.
