What is SAAC?
The student-athlete advisory committee (SAAC) is a committee made up of student-athletes assembled to provide insight on the student-athlete experience. The SAAC also offers input on the rules, regulations and polices that affect student-athletes' lives on NCAA member institution campuses.
The mission of the NCAA Division III Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is to enhance the total student-athlete experience by promoting opportunity for all student-athletes; protecting student-athlete welfare; and fostering a positive student-athlete image, while maintaining the tenants of the Division III philosophy.

Buena Vista University SAAC
Buena Vista University has a SAAC organization that allows student athletes a say in how they run, what they do, and why they do it. BVU's SAAC meets once a month and is composed of athletes from each sport who get together to discuss issues at BVU, within the IIAC conference, and at a national level. The athletes at BVU are able to voice their opinions in a comfortable environment knowing that what they say can make a difference.
BVU hopes to strengthen their SAAC organization and improve their level of impact not only across their own campus, but through the conference and the division as well. There are many great events, activities, and ideas that they hope to implement in the near future! Please keep checking back to this website and follow us on Facebook and Twitter for updates going forward.
