Courtney (Anderson) Berg ‘01 starred on the diamond for current BVU Hall of Fame coach Marge Willadsen from 1998-01. She still to this day holds the career record for games played (152) and games started (151). As a senior, she played 35 games and hit a team-high .381 while also leading the team in hits (45) and runs (26). She went on to earn First Team All-Conference accolades following the year and was named the conference’s Most Valuable Player. For her career, she totaled 131 hits which still ranks eighth all-time, 469 at-bats which sits 3rd, 86 runs which is 11th and 23 stolen bases which is ninth. She also earned All-Midwest Region accolades multiple times and was a four-time Scholar All-American.
