Hall of Fame
Scott Weber shined on the hardwood at BVU from 2000-04 while playing for longtime coach, Brian Van Haaften. He's currently in the top-10 on the program's career list in both points and rebounds and was a career 54-percent shooter. A two-time Iowa Conference Most Valuable Player and a three-time all-conference selection overall, Weber helped lead the Beavers to a 95-21 overall record, 61-11 mark in conference play and three straight conference regular season championships. As a junior, he averaged 13.8 points and 7.0 rebounds per contest while shooting 55 percent from the field as the Beavers claimed both the regular season and tournament championships before advancing into the Sweet Sixteen. In those three NCAA Tournament games, he averaged 13 points and 9.3 rebounds, including a pair of double-doubles. As a senior, he averaged 18.6 points per game which ranked second in the conference, hauled in seven boards per game and was fourth in the league shooting better than 56 percent from the field. He notched a big double-double with 19 points and 12 boards to help BVU win that third straight regular season title with a 12-point home win over Wartburg.
