Nick Dentlinger ‘98 shined on the hardwood from 1994-98 where he was a two-time First Team All-Conference selection, scored over 1,200 career points and set the program's all-time career three-point makes record with 190. He was a part of the program's 1997 conference championship team, which at that point was the program's first since 1976. As a junior that season, he led the team in scoring with 15.3 points per game and made 59 three-point buckets as BVU went 12-4 in league play and 18-8 overall. A year later, he upped his average to a team-best 18.8 points per contest and made a career-high 65 three-point shots. He also registered 43 blocked shots which at the time was the second-most for a single-season in program history. His 83 career blocks are still fourth-most all-time.
