Katie (Maguire) Campbell was a four-year starter on the BVU women’s basketball team from 2002-06 and turned in an illustrious playing career. She was a four-time All-Iowa Conference selection, while being named the league’s Most Valuable Player as both a junior and senior. She ranked fourth all-time in program history in scoring (1,724pts), first in career assists (578), first in three-point makes (238) and second in career steals (262). She was a two-time All-American by the WBCA, a three-time Academic All-IIAC performer and was voted a Third Team Academic All-American as a senior. She helped lead the Beavers to back-to-back IIAC Championships (2003-04 & 2004-05). Campbell graduated from BVU in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education.
