Buena Vista University

Amy was a standout pitcher on the BVU softball team from 1991-94, winning 43 career games and holding the program's second lowest career ERA of 0.97.  She was a two-time All-American and helped the team capture national runner-up and national fifth-place finishes, respectively.  She posted the nation's lowest ERA (0.47) as a senior and was named the Iowa Conference MVP.  Amy is married to Jeremy Dettmer SL'96, and they reside with their children Madison, Brayden, and Reece in Grand Prairie, Texas, where she is an assistant manager at Intimacy.
