Hall of Fame
Raised in Aurelia, Glen Stabelfeld '52 was a pitcher for three Beaver conference baseball championship teams. Following graduation he pitched for the St. Louis Cardinals and Boston Red Sox from 1954-61. Stabelfeld held a professional record of 73-45 with 42 saves.
Folloiwng his professional baseball career, Stablefeld coached baseballand basketball in Minnesota and California. He also directed the YMCA camp in Stanislaus County, Calif.
