After coming to Buena Vista from Eagle Grove Junior College, Richard Point '64 made the most of his tenure on the Beaver basketball team. He scored 949 points in two years and was an all-conference selection his junior and senior year.
In 1962-63 Point was the second leading scorer in the Iowa Conference. He received All-American honorable mention recognition from the NAIA in 1964.
