WATERLOO, Iowa (Apr. 5, 2025) - The Buena Vista men's golf team began the 36-hole Upper Iowa Invite on Saturday at Sunnyside Golf & Country Club and the Beavers find themselves in 15th place after 18 holes of play.

Gabe Kramer led the way with a round of 80 and is in 32nd overall with Kaleb Sander was next with an 83. Mason Laven and Payton Greenwood each turned in rounds of 86 and are tied for 74th. 

BVU finished with a 335 overall and finished the round two shots behind the Wartburg College (B) team. The Wartburg (A) team as well as Mary (ND) are eight shots in front and tied for 12th. William Jewell (302) is the clubhouse leader and is five shots clear of both Bemidji State and Kirkwood CC.

The final 18 holes get underway at 10 a.m. on Sunday with a shot gun start for the second straight day.
