BROOKINGS, S.D. (Dec. 6, 2025) - The Buena Vista men's indoor track & field team sent a handful of individuals to compete on Friday in the South Dakota State University Holiday Meet.

Freshman J'Omarion ran a strong 7.26 seconds in the 60-meter dash prelims which was just 0.08 seconds away from moving him into the program's top-10 list. He also ran in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23:88 which was just 0.8 seconds from putting him into the top-10. Fellow freshman Bryce Moquin was just ahead of Preston in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.73.

Carter Braun placed 13th in the 600-meter dash in 1:29.25 and was only three seconds off a mark that would put him into BVU's top-10.

Buena Vista will resume its full schedule after the holiday break as it competes in the Chelsey Henkenius Open, hosted by Wartburg College, on Jan. 17, 2026.
