Five Women's Soccer Student-Athletes Named CSC Academic All-District

STORM LAKE, Iowa (Nov. 26, 2025) - The Buena Vista University women's soccer team landed five student-athletes on this year's College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team as announced this week.

Student-athletes are nominated by their school's Athletics Communications office with a maximum total of six individuals eligible. An individual must have started in at least 90 percent of the team's overall matches played this season or have played in at least 66 percent, maintained an overall cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, be at least a sophomore in academic standing.

A combined total of 74 women's and men's student-athletes from across the American Rivers Conference were recognized on the team.

For Buena Vista, senior Avery Bryant, senior Hailey Chambers, sophomore Rachel Huisinga, sophomore Maia Jaroch, and sophomore Megan Rowedder were all named to the team. Chambers and Bryant are being recognized for the second time in their careers while the other three are named for the first time.

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.
