Stellmaker Earns All-Conference as BVU Takes Fifth at A-R-C Championships

LONG GROVE, Iowa (Oct. 13, 2025) - Buena Vista senior Brooke Stellmaker saved the best for last with a par on the 54th and final hole on Monday to finish with a 79 and move up to tie for 10th and earn all-conference accolades at the American Rivers Conference Women's Golf Championships held at Glynn's Creek Golf Course.

Stellmaker, who was Honorable Mention last season after missing out on the top-10 by just two shots, had her lowest round of this year's championships on Monday and a near clean card on the back nine to close things out and move up three spots on the day to earn her first career all-conference finish. She reached the final tee box sitting one shot out of the top-10 and with her fifth straight par to wrap up the round, she was able to climb her way up.

BVU has now captured at least one all-conference performer in back-to-back seasons for the first time since it did so in 14 consecutive campaigns from 1994-2007.

Riley Haschke, women's golf at BVU Invite

Fellow senior Hailey Bistodeau, who earned all-conference accolades a year ago, was just off the pace this year by finishing seven strokes out of the top-10 after a second straight round of 84. She began the day strong with a 2-over 38 over the first nine holes and appeared to make a run at the accolades, but couldn't overcome three straight double bogeys to start the back nine.

Junior Riley Haschke was just one shot behind Bistodeau and placed 20th overall after a final round 85. Ella Whited was the final scoring round for BVU and posted an 88. Hannah Patrick stepped in as a replacement for the final round and matched Whited with an 88 in her only round of the championships.

As a team, the Beavers (1,008) turned in their third straight round of 336 and held off Simpson College (1,009), who made a big run over the final 36 holes and finished one shot back. Loras College (1,004) had its worst round of the championships on Monday (341) and ended up holding off BVU for fourth place by only four shots.

The University of Dubuque (938) captured its sixth A-R-C Championships title over the last seven years.
