LONGVIEW, Texas (March 11, 2026) - The Buena Vista women's golf team played a pair of rounds during the 36-hole Pinecrest Invitational hosted on March 8-10 by LeTourneau University. The Beavers finished in sixth place overall among nine teams with a 705.

BVU was led by Noelle Hamand who placed 21st overall with a 173. She turned in an 86 to close out the tournament and finished only three strokes back of the top-20. Ella Whited was close behind at 174 while Riley Haschke (181) and Joie Christensen (183) came in t-27th and 29th, respectively. Hannah Patrick rounded out the team's line-up and came in 30th.

A total of nine teams and 43 total golfers took part in the event. Cal Lutheran (619) was the overall team champion by five strokes over East Texas Baptist (624).

Buena Vista contiues its spring schedule at the Graceland University Invite on March 27-28 at Mozingo Golf Course in Maryville, Mo.
