LONG GROVE, Iowa (Oct. 11, 2025) - The Buena Vista women's golf team began play on Saturday at the American Rivers Conference Golf Championships held at Glynn Creek's Golf Course, and the Beavers find themselves tied for fifth after 18 holes with a round of 336.
Three individuals finished their respective rounds positioned in the top-20, led by senior
Hailey Bistodeau, who is 12th after carding an 82. Junior
Riley Haschke and senior
Brooke Stellmaker are just two strokes back and tied for 17th after rounds of 84. Stellmaker had one of the team's three birdies on the day as she did on the par-5 ninth.
Ella Whited turned in a round of 86 and is in 27th overall to round out the scoring list for the Beavers.
Buena Vista is tied with Luther in the team race but is only five shots back of Wartburg (4th) and nine behind Loras (3rd). Sunday's second round will tee-off with the first wave of golfers at 10 a.m. BVU will be among the second wave of golfers taking the course, along with golfers from Wartburg and Luther.
