LONG GROVE, Iowa (Oct. 12, 2025) - The Buena Vista women's golf team matched its opening round of 336 during Sunday's second round of the American Rivers Conference Championships and maintained its fifth-place spot in the overall standings.

The Beavers entered the round tied with Luther but the Norse dropped down to seventh and are five shots behind. BVU trails Loras College by nine strokes after the Duhawks also turned in a 336 which was nine shots higher than their opening round 327. Wartburg College is in third and 10 shots clear of BVU.

Senior Brooke Stellmaker had back-to-back birdies on holes 15 and 16 and turned in the team's low round of the day at 80. She enters the final day in 13th place and only three shots back of a spot in the top-10 which is need to earn all-conference accolades. Fellow senior Hailey Bistodeau is just two strokes behind Stellmaker overall but in 19th place while junior Riley Haschke fired an 83 and a shot behind Bistodeau.

Monday's final round at Glynn's Creek Golf Course gets underway at 10 a.m. The Beavers are going after their third straight finish in the top-5 which would be their longest stretch since doing so in 12 consecutive seasons from 1994-2006.
