ROCK ISLAND, Ill. (Nov. 16, 2024) - It was a strong finish to the season for the Buena Vista men's cross country team as the Beavers went on to place 19th overall among the 31 teams competing at the 2024 NCAA Midwest Regional Championships.
BVU was led by a 47th place finish from senior
Kyle Miller, who posted a time of 25:44.7. Fellow senior
Kaden Sadler was 17 seconds behind and came in 54th overall. Junior
Hadyn Piskorski and
Aiden Egertson were just short of their career-best times as they rolled in as the third and fourth finishers for BVU.
Dylan Austad,
Carter Braun and
Brayden Mahlum rounded out the race for the Beavers.
Wartburg College won the team race with 44 points, holding off North Central (Ill.) by four points. WashU came in third with 94 points.
The race concludes the season for Buena Vista as well as the careers of Miller and Sadler.
