CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (Nov. 2, 2024) - Buena Vista fifth-year Kyle Miller becomes the first all-conference performer for the Buena Vista men's cross country team in 24 years as he finished 17th overall to help lead the men's cross country team at the American Rivers Conference Championships on Saturday.

Miller crossed the finish line of the 8k race in 25:10.4 and was only five seconds away from his all-time best mark. He is the first all-conference performer for BVU since Greg Bell placed 10th back in 2000.

Senior Kaden Sadler placed 52nd overall in a time of 26:10.4, junior Hadyn Piskorski was 101st with his personal best time of 27:06.4 while sophomore Aiden Egertson also ran his personal best time. Carter Braun and Dylan Austad rounded out the line-up for the Beavers.

Buena Vista tallied 208 points and placed eighth overall in the team race ahead of Coe College (234).

Up next for the Beavers will be the NCAA Regional Championships on Saturday, Nov. 16 at Rock Island, Ill.
