PARKVILLE, Mo. (April 3, 2023) - The Buena Vista women's golf team saw both Hailey Bistodeau and Brooke Stellmaker tied for 17th after the opening round of the Park University Spring Classic on Monday. The duo reached the clubhouse after rounds of 87.

Emily Powers turned in an 89 and is tied for 22nd. Cara Kempadoo (98) and Naomi SchraderBacher (102) rounded out the line-up for the Beavers.

As a team, BVU's score of 361 has them in sixth place out of seven competing teams. Mount Mercy fired a 317 and leads the team race by seven strokes. Breanna Feldermann highlighted the round for the Mustangs with a 74 and leads the individual race by two strokes.

Final round action is set for Tuesday morning starting at 9 a.m.
