DUBUQUE, Iowa (Nov. 16, 2022) - Brandon Foster and Axel Hernandez each registered major decision victories to highlight the Buena Vista wrestling team on Wednesday night as the Beavers began American Rivers Conference action with a 42-8 road loss at No. 13 Loras College.

Foster put BVU on the board to begin the dual as he rolled to a 10-2 victory at 125 pounds. Hernandez followed up two matches later to put the Beavers back in front, 8-5, with his 11-3 triumph at 141 pounds. It was all Duhawks from there as they recorded bonus points in seven of their victories.

Buena Vista is now 0-2 overall and is to return to action on Saturday, Nov. 19.
