STORM LAKE, Iowa (February 14, 2020) - The Buena Vista wrestling team wrapped up its regular season on Friday night with a strong effort against No. 19 Luther College despite falling to the Norse, 30-12.

Luther built an early 13-0 lead before Buena Vista strung together three wins over the next four weights.  Senior Collin Stilson picked up his 21st win of the year as he won by forfeit at 149 pounds before junior Teyler Bruch pulled off a solid 9-5 victory at 157 to get BVU within 13-9.

Freshman Floyd Miller came up clutch at 174 pounds by recording a takedown, reversal and over two minutes of riding time to post a 5-2 decision to make it 17-12.

The Norse came through with bonus points in two of the final three matches to pull away and improve to 11-6 (5-3 A-R-C).

Buena Vista wraps up its dual season at 3-9 overall (0-8 A-R-C).  The team will return to action on Saturday, February 29 when it begins competition at the NCAA Lower Midwest Regional Tournament at the Five Seasons Center in Dubuque.
