ORANGE CITY, Iowa (Sept.15, 2026) - The Buena Vista men's golf team closed out the annual Siouxland Invite on Tuesday afternoon by playing 36 holes at Landsmeer Golf Course and posting rounds of 299 and 287 which followed an opening round 308 on Monday at The Ridge in Sioux Center, Iowa.

All five players in the BVU line-up turned in final rounds under 70. Freshman Tommy Dredla tied for 20th overall after a final round of 1-over 71. Freshman Chase Belka and senior Gabe Kramer carded rounds of even par, and both chalked up five birdies.

Belka had a team-leading six birdies during his second round and finished the tournament with 12 which tied for the fourth most among any player in the field. Freshman Jeremy Maassen turned in a 74 to close out his tournament and highlighted the day with his first career eagle which came on the par-5 10th hole.

Buena Vista totaled an 894 and placed 10th overall. Hastings won the team title with an 848 and held off Northwestern College (IA) by three strokes.

The Beavers will turn right around and be back in action as they host the annual BVU Fall Invite on Saturday, Sept. 19 and Sunday, Sept. 20.
