STORM LAKE, Iowa (July 8, 2026) - Junior men's basketball guard Jayden Brink will join two teams of elite Division III men's basketball athletes on a tour of Brazil later this month. Ron Smith of USA Sports Tours & Events has announced the team and coaches for the upcoming tour.

The two USA DIII Basketball Teams, a blue team and a red team, were selected from NCAA Division III men’s players from across the country. These athletes have been recognized nationally, regionally and by their conferences. 

Brink's team, the Blue Team, comprises eight players representing seven different colleges and universities and come from five different home states. The Red Team is made up of nine players representing six different colleges and universities, coming from six different home states. 

The tour will take place from July 27-Aug. 5. The athletes will begin with orientation in Orlando, Fla. on July 27 before departing for Sao Paulo, Brazil. The teams will play doubleheaders in the cities and clubs across the country. On Tuesday and Wednesday, they will play in the city of Sorocaba versus the Sorocaba Basquete Clube and Basquete Tatui, professional teams from the state of Sao Paulo. On Thursday the teams will fly to Rio de Janeiro and will play two additional games in Rio de Janeiro on either Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday. 

In Brazil the athletes will experience the culture of Brazilian life through city, school and sports club visits. In Sau Paulo they will stay in the city of Sao Paulo, the second largest city in the Western Hemisphere. In Rio de Janeiro the team will stay on the world-famous Copacabana Beach, where Beach Volleyball competition took place during the 2016 Olympic Games.The athletes will also tour the Christ the Redeemer Statue and Sugar Loaf Mountain, two of the most recognizable landmarks in the world. 

2026 USA D-3 Basketball Team Rosters
