BVU Lands Six Basketball Student-Athletes on CSC Academic All-District Team

STORM LAKE, Iowa (March 25, 2026) - The College Sports Communicators (CSC) has announced its 2026 Academic All-District Basketball Team and Buena Vista has landed a combined total of six student-athletes on the list.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Up to four women and four men could be nominated from each institution.

On the  women's side, the Beavers had four players recognized: Seniors McKenna Cone and Danika Demers as well as sophomores Tyme Boettcher and Bradi Krager. Demers and Cone are selected for the third straight season while Boettcher and Krager are honored in their first year of eligibility.

On the men's side, BVU had sophomores Adam Bryte and Jaden Jones represented in their first years of eligibility.

A total of 51 student-athletes from across the American Rivers Conference were listed on the teams.

To be eligible an individual must be at least a sophomore in both academic and athletic standing with an overall cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Transfer student-athletes are immediately eligible if he or she has reached at leas the sophomore status. An individual must also appear in at least 90 percent of the team's overall games for the season or have started in at least 66 percent. Nominees are submitted by their institutions Athletics Communication Directors.

Krager has been selected as a finalist to advance to the national ballot for Academic All-American voting which will be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced April 14 (men) and April 15 (women).

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
