STORM LAKE, Iowa (June 16, 2026) - The College Sports Communicators recently announced its At-Large Academic All-District Team, and Buena Vista landed nine student-athletes on the team.
The eligible at-large sports for BVU consisted of women's and men's wrestling as well as women's and men's golf. A total of six nominations from each sport were available. To be eligible, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore in academic standing and be listed on the sport's eligibility report, maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5.
For wrestling, an individual must have competed in at least 75 percent of competition where team scoring was kept or be in the line-up for the team's conference tournament. On the golf side, an individual must compete in at least 75 percent of all team scoring events or be listed in the line-up at the conference championships.
