STORM LAKE, Iowa (March 17, 2026) – Due to the winter storm that moved through the region on Sunday, the scheduled Buena Vista baseball home opener on Tuesday, March 17 against Bethany Lutheran College has been canceled and will not be rescheduled.
 
The Beavers (3-9) will shift their focus to the American Rivers Conference opener on March 20-21 when they host the University of Dubuque in a three-game weekend series. First pitch for Friday night's opener is set for 6 p.m.
