GRINNELL, Iowa (Feb. 14, 2026) -  Buena Vista men's indoor track & field team was in action on Saturday at the annual Darren Young Classic, hosted by Grinnell College, and the Beavers had multiple individuals capture season or personal best times on the day.

Senior Easton Hays moved into 8th on the program's top-10 all-time list in the 60-meter dash with his time of 7.08 in the finals as he placed seventh overall. He later came in 14th in the 200m at 23.44 but less than one second away from placing in the top-10. Hayes also captured a top-5 finish in the long jump with a heaver of 6.13m.

Freshman Kaden Zweibahmer was the team's other top-10 finisher on the day as he placed seventh in the long jump right behind Hays at 6.04m.

Buena Vista next travels to Mankato, Minn., on February 20, to compete in the Maverick Open at Minnesota State-Mankato in what will be the final tune-up before the A-R-C Championships on Feb. 27-28.
