WAVERLY, Iowa (Sept. 6, 2025) - The Buena Vista women's golf team struggled to a round of 352 on Saturday in the opening 18 holes of play at the annual Wartburg College Fall Invite played at Prairie Links Golf Course.

Senior Brooke Stellmaker turned in a round of 81 to lead the Beavers and is tied for 31st overall but only five shots out of the top-10. Noelle Hamand (85) and senior Hailey Bistodeau (87) are close behind and in 74th and 90, respectively.

Grinnell College's Emily Lackershire and Upper Iowa's Addison Weber each fired round of 2-under 70 and hold a two-shot lead heading into Sunday's final round. Over 125 players make up this year's field which consists of 25 teams.

BVU is in 18th place in the team race while The University of Dubuque is the clubhouse leader by nine strokes after an opening round 301. Grinnell is in second at 310.

Sunday's final round is set to tee-off at 9 a.m.
