YANKTON, S.D. (Sept. 5, 2025) - Junior Megan Bakke got her 2025 cross country season off to a strong start by running a new personal best time of 19:04.44 and coming in 68th overall out of more than 315 total runners on Friday night during the 14th annual Augustana College Twilight Meet.

Bakke's time was only 20 seconds off of a spot in the top-45 and two minutes off the winning time. Sophomore Lillian Dahlhauser made her BVU debut and came in second behind Baake at 20:15. Junior Takara Conley was just behind Dahlhauser's pace and crossed at 20:29.93 which was a new personal best by 38 seconds.

Buena Vista came in 21st overall out of 26 total teams taking part. The Beavers will now have two weeks to before they return to action on Saturday, Sept. 20, at the St. Olaf Invitational starting at 10 a.m.
