STORM LAKE, Iowa (Sept. 20, 2025) - The Buena Vista women's golf team has two players inside the top-10 and the team is third overall after the opening round of the BVU Fall Invite on Saturday out at the BVU Golf Course at Lake Creek.

Senior Brooke Stellmaker carded a round of 82, including a birdie on the par-4 fifth hole, and is tied for seventh overall. Fellow senior Hailey Bistodeau had a pair of birdies in the round and is only one shot back of Stellmaker and tied for ninth.

Riley Haschke and Noelle Hammand each posted rounds of 85 and are just outside of the top-10 in a tie for 12th.

As a team, the Beavers turned in a 335 and are only four shots back of Simpson College. Loras College's Julia Busch is the clubhouse leader by one shot after an opening round 75.

The Buena Vista ‘B’ Team was led on the day by freshman Hannah Patrick, who fired an 88 and is tied for 17th overall.

Final round action on Sunday is set to tee-off with a shotgun start at 10 a.m.
