DUBUQUE, Iowa (Apr. 14, 2025) - The Buena Vista men's golf team concluded the Loras College Spring Invite on Monday afternoon with a sixth-place overall team finish as well as a pair of top-10 individual finishes.

Among the high finishes was Kaleb Sander, who had the highlight of the day for the Beavers with a hole-in-one on the par-3 11th hole. He finished the round with an 80 and came in 10th place overall. Gabe Kramer picked up birdies on the par-4 10th hole as well as the par-5 15th en route to a sixth place finish after posting a round of 78.

Mason Laven and Mathew Turpen each had single birdies on their respective scorecards for the day and followed with rounds of 85 and 87.

The 11-team field had to deal with a bit windier conditions over the final 18 holes. BVU, which had carded a 306 on the opening round on Sunday, followed up with a 330 for a 36-hole total of 636,

The University of Dubuque took the overall team title at 605 while holding off Luther College at 628.

Next up for the Beavers will be the Luther College Invite on Apr. 18-19 at Oneota Golf and Country Club in Decorah, Iowa.
