LINCOLN, Neb. (Nov. 29, 2025) - It was an exciting way to finish the Snyder Classic on Saturday afternoon for the Buena Vista men's basketball team as it rallied in the final 90 seconds to knock off the University of Dallas, 68-64.

Sophomore Jayden Brink reached a career-high in scoring for the third straight game to lead BVU with 29 points, including the game's final five points. He nailed his career-high seventh three-point bucket of the contest with 24 seconds left to put the Beavers in front 66-64 before adding a pair of late free-throws after a missed shot attempt at the other end by the Crusaders. UDallas had led by seven at 64-57 with 1:37 remaining before Brink sparked the comeback with a three-point bucket, and after a Crusader turnover, senior Ned Hayes nailed one of his two long range buckets to help set-up the comeback victory.

UDallas (1-5) led by as many as seven in the first half and hung onto a 31-27 advantage at the break.

Sophomore Adam Bryte was in double figures for the fifth straight game with 19 points and added six rebounds. Both Bryte and Brink represented BVU on the All-Tournament Team.

Sophomore Jaden Jones set a career-high with nine rebounds and also dished out a team-high five assists with senior Jackson Jones adding six points and five boards.

Buena Vista made 10-of-24 three-point attempts in the second half (41.7 percent) after connecting on only 3-of-15 over the first 20 minutes. UDallas tried to keep pace by making 10-of-28 from behind the arc.
