STORM LAKE, Iowa (Nov. 10, 2025) - The American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) has announced its weekly Performers of the Week, and Buena Vista has landed sophomore Bradi Krager as the Women's Basketball Performer of the Week.

Krager was pivotal for the women's basketball team as it captured a third-place finish in the first-ever Central Bank Classic, hosted by BVU on Friday and Saturday to tip-off the season.

During a tough 92-88 loss against Benedictine University (IL) on Friday, Krager set a new career-high of 27 points, on 11-of-14 shooting, to go along with four rebounds and five steals while playing 33 minutes. She followed that up with 12 points in just 12 minutes as BVU rolled to a 109-49 victory on Saturday in the consolation game over Faith Baptist Bible College. Last year's leading scorer for the Beavers, Krager was efficient against the Eagles as well, making 5-of-7 shot attempts and added three more steals.

Krager is currently leading the A-R-C in both scoring and steals through the first two games at 19.5ppg and 4.0, respectively, and is second in field goal shooting at .762 percent. This is the first recognition in her career and BVU's first since McKenna Cone back on Dec. 2, 2024.

Buena Vista is 1-1 overall and will step outside of its regular schedule to play an exhibition game tonight at the University of South Dakota at 7 p.m. The team resumes its regular season schedule on Friday, Nov. 14 at Macalester College (5:30 p.m.) and Saturday, Nov. 15 at St. Olaf College (3 p.m.).
