MENOMONIE, Wis. (Oct. 1, 2025) - It was a defensive battle for the Buena Vista men's soccer team as it played at the University of Wisconsin-Stout on Wednesday night, and despite holding the overall edge in total shots, the Beavers were unable to find the back of the net and had to settle for a 0-0 draw against the Blue Devils.
BVU came out strong in the opening half and took eight shots overall while holding UW-Stout to only four, but the team couldn't find the back of the net as UW-Stout keeper Eddie Puglisi made four saves. The Beavers carried the attack over into the second half and took 12 more shots but again Puglisi made four saves against the shots-on-goal. BVU finished the match with a 20-10 edge in total shots and an 8-3 margin on-goal.
Forwards
