Beaver Athletics Recognized by CSC for Photography, Video

STORM LAKE, Iowa (July 12, 2024) – College Sports Communicators (CSC) has announced the results of this year’s Creative & Digital Design Contest, and Buena Vista University was recognized in photo and video categories.

Three photos and three videos, submitted by assistant director of athletics communications & marketing Ryan Harder, received honors across ten different categories. Recognition included honors in “Best of Division III" and “Photo of the Year” placement in the College Division, which includes NCAA Divisions II & III, NAIA, two-year schools, and Canadian institutions.

“Obviously, this is a huge honor and I'm proud to be recognized,” says Harder. “But the credit should really go to the student-athletes, coaches, fans, and support staff that represent Beaver Nation. It's easy to create good work when you're surrounded by such an amazing group of Beavers.”

CSC was founded in 1957 and is a 4,100+ member national association for strategic, creative and digital communicators across intercollegiate athletics in the United States and Canada. This year’s contest saw more than 1,600 entries, an increase of nearly 70 percent from last year’s contest. The best-performing new contest was Short Form Videos/Reels, which saw a total of 198 combined entries.
