STORM LAKE, Iowa (June 17, 2025) - The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced the Academic All-District At-Large Team on Tuesday with a total of nine student-athletes from Buena Vista University being recognized.
A total of six women and three men were eligible for nomination by the university's Athletics Communication office. Those on the list for the Beavers this year are from the sports of golf and men's wrestling.
To be eligible for recognition, a player must be in at least sophomore academic and athletic standing with one full year at the current institution while holding a cumulative overall GPA of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. Eligible golf nominees must be in the lineup for 70 percent of an institution's TEAM SCORING events OR in the lineup at the conference championship tournament.
For wrestling, eligible nominees must be in the lineup for at least 70 percent of TEAM SCORING events (open tournaments, duals) OR compete in their weight class at a conference championship meet.
