STORM LAKE, Iowa (May 17, 2024) - The Buena Vista University women's tennis team had junior Abigail King and sophomore Hailey Meseck earn Academic All-District accolades by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) as announced earlier this week.

The CSC Academic All-District Team recognizes the top student-athletes for their performances and efforts both on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes tennis honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore in both academic and athletics standing at their current institution with a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Eligible nominees need to be in the lineup for 70 percent of the total matches played by the team that includes team scores.

King and Meseck are being recognized for the first time in their respective careers.
