STORM LAKE, Iowa (June 5, 2023) - The Buena Vista University track & field teams landed a combined total of seven Academic All-District selections as recently announced by the College Sports Communicators (CSC).
The CSC Academic AllAmerica® program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the athletic realm and in the classroom. It separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore in academic standing with a minimum of one full calendar at his/her current institution, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale, and be a varsity starter or key reserve, having appeared in at least 50 percent of the team's competition for the current season.

Joseph Fisher,
Zackary Huffman,
Colin Imhoff and
Kaden Sadler. It's the first time in the careers of each individual that they have landed such recognition.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic AllAmerica® honorees will be announced June 29.
