STORM LAKE, Iowa (Oct. 10, 2023) - The Buena Vista men's soccer team continued its home schedule on Tuesday night under the lights by hosting Coe College inside of J. Leslie Rollins Stadium. The Kohawks, however, scored three times over the final 30 minutes of play en route to a 3-0 victory.
Despite 14 shots from Coe in the first half, the Beaver defensive effort held strong, and kept the Kohawks off the board. BVU was held to one shot attempt in each half, and the Kohawks eventually pulled through with the first goal of the contest midway through the 61st minute on a penalty kick. The final two goals came less than a minute apart over the final 10 minutes of play.
