LINCOLN, Neb. (Sept. 24, 2022) - The Buena Vista women's golf team turned in an opening round of 361 on Saturday as it played the first 18 holes at the Nebraska Wesleyan Invite.]

Brooke Stellmaker and Hailey Bistodeau each turned in rounds of 88 and are tied for 25h. Cara Kempadoo is two shots back after posting a 90 while Katelyn Nielsen (95) and Emily Powers (97) round out the line-up.

BVU sits two shots in front of Simpson College entering Sunday's final round and are 15 shots back of Morningside which is in fifth.

Sunday's final round is the final tune-up for the Beavers prior to next weekend's American Rivers Conference Championships.
