League of Legends Competes in NECC Activation Week 1 to end busy week of Esports

STORM LAKE, Iowa - A busy week of Esports wraps up tonight wth the League of Legends squad competing in the NECC Activation Week 1. League of Legends scrimmaged Coe College on Thursday, September 9 and fell 2-0. They will look to rebound tonight against Mid-American Christian University at 630 pm and wrap up the night against George Fox Community at 8:15 pm. Wednesday Wrap Up
The BVU Rainbow Six squad opened up their activation phase against the University of Southern Mississippi. The Beavers struggled a bit falling 7-1. In their second contest they played against Greenville University out of Missouri. The squad competed better but fell 7-4. On Tuesday night they scrimmaged Coe College winning both maps they played. 

Thursday Wrap Up
The Beavers scrimmaged Coe College in Valorant, League of Legends and Smash Ultimate. The BVU Valorant squad played well falling in the first map 13-11 and then rebounded with a 13-8 win in the second map. Tate Kunze had a solid outing for the Beavers as he aced five times or eliminated all the players on the other team by himself in map one. In map two he had 40 kills. The team looks to get better with another scrimmage next week against Coe. 

The Smash team also scrimmaged Coe. They were defeated but learned some things to get better and will play in ECAC competition this fall.

On Monday BVU Navy Rocket League will take on Concordia University-St. Paul at 7 pm.
