WAVERLY, Iowa (March 13, 2021) - The final day of the DIII Elite Track & Field Championships also wrapped up the indoor season for the Buena Vista track & field teams, but not before more season best marks were captured by the select individuals who were in action.

Senior Lane Jellison posted a strong personal best mark in the shot put of 14.24 meters to finish eighth overall.  Senior Emily Hoesing and sophomore Qiana Roderick each posted theirs in the 3,000 meter run.  Hoesing took eighth in the race with Roderick coming in 12th.

"This weekend was a great experience for our team," said BVU interim head track & field coach Jonina Brinson. "With the Indoor Conference Meet last week and to remain focused, I could not be more proud of this team. Everyone competed with heart and closed out the indoor season well. Now it is time to transition to the outdoor and attack the season that is ahead of us.
