ABOUT DUBUQUE
Despite winning multiple regular season conference games by wide margins, the Spartans' appearances in the A-R-C tournament have come down to the wire. In their semifinal game against Coe, Dubuque built a 13-point lead (21-8) halfway through the first half. The Kohawks were able to cut that lead in half, taking the score to 31-25 at the break. In the second half, the Spartans' lead ranged from 4 to 14 points. With less than two minutes left in the game, Coe had come back to within six (69-63). A couple of missed shots and a key turnover sealed the Kohawks fate, with Dubuque winning 73-63.
