STORM LAKE, Iowa (February 25, 2021) - Buena Vista University director of athletics Jack Denholm has announced the resignation of head volleyball coach Aubrey Havlichek, effective at season's end.

Havlichek, who is in her third season at the helm, will continue to lead the team through the remainder of its fall-to-spring competition schedule which began on February 20.  The Beavers are currently 2-0 at the start of their eight scheduled American Rivers Conference matches.

In her first two years on the BVU sideline, Havlichek led the Beavers to 24 wins and a pair of A-R-C appearances.  She has coached three all-conference performers and has also had a pair of honorable mention selections.

"I want to thank Aubrey for her time here at BVU. She has been instrumental in continuing to build upon the success of the volleyball program, and I wish her all the best in her future endeavors," says Denholm."

A search for Havlichek's replacement will begin immediately.
