About Coe - The Kohawks come in winners of three straight games following consecutive losses to Wartburg (28-7) and Central (55-21), respectively, to finish out the month of September and begin the month of October.  The team is among the top teams in the American Rivers Conference in rushing, ranking third at 186.2 yards per contest.  Defesively, it has also been among the best at stopping the run against A-R-C foes, allowing just over 124 yards per game.  In the passing game, Coe has split time between two quarterbacks who have each thrown for over 700 yards this season.  The duo has combined to average just less than 206 yards through the air per contest.  On the flip-side, the Kohawks have struggled in stopping the pass, allowing a league-high 303 passing yards per game during A-R-C play.

About Buena Vista: The Beavers have been playing lights out since their bye week, winning all three games outscoring their opponents during that stretch by a combined total of 124-46.  During those games, the team has been playing as good of defense as any team in the league, allowing an average of only 44 yards per game rushing while also holding all three opponents to less than 200 yards passing.  BVU has moved into the top spot in rushing defense during conference play, giving up an average of only 87.7ypg.  Defensively, the Beavers rank 14th in DIII with 14 interceptions and  are 63rd in rush defense overall.  Senior Eric Pacheco enters the game needing just one touchdown catch to break the BVU all-time career record of 33.  He's also 21 receptions shy of matching the program's single-season mark of 83 and needs only 139 yards over the last two games to become the first player in program history to reach 4,000 career receiving yards.

UP NEXT - The Beavers will wrap up the season next Saturday, November 13, by hosting ninth-ranked Central College for a 1:00 p.m. kickoff.
