STORM LAKE, Iowa (February 19, 2020) - The Buena Vista women's basketball team will take the court inside Siebens Fieldhouse for the final time this season tonight when the Beavers host Central College in an American Rivers Conference showdown.

The Beavers were on the road at Coe College on Saturday afternoon and lost to the Kohawks 68-43.
Nicole Lange came off the bench and turned in a team-high with 14 points and career-high four steals in just 20 minutes.
Destiny Einerwold turned in 11 points as a starter along with four rebounds.
SERIES OUTLOOK
It will be the 84
th meeting between these two teams with Central winning the last match-up during the regular season, 71-56. Central leads the all time series at 47-36 but BVU has won nine of the last 11 in the series between the two teams.
SCOUTING CENTRALÂ Â Â Â Â
The Dutch have won 3-of-4 of late with their last game beating Nebraska Wesleyan 82-75. The Dutch rallied from down 18 points to win as freshman guard Kelsea Hurley turned in her first career double-double with 23 points and 12 rebounds. Hurley leads the team in scoring with 13.3 points per game. She also has tallied 74 assists and 33 steals along with 111 rebounds on the season. Senior forward Kendall Brown is second on the team in scoring with 12.9 points per game and leads the team in rebounding at 5.9 per game along with a total of 141 rebounds this season. She leads the team in blocks with a total of 69 along with averaging 2.88 blocks per game. Central's win over the Prairie Wolves gives the Dutch the final conference tournament berth which marks its first appearance since 2004-05.

ABOUT BUENA VISTA
The Beavers are going after their first conference win of the year as they wind down the home schedule tonight. The team is averaging 59 ppg, shooting 36 percent from the field and 28 percent from downtown. Senior
Destiny Einerwold has scored in double figures in all but three game for the year and leads the team and ranks fourth in the conference at 15.4ppg.  She's also eighth in field goal percentage and seventh in free-throw percentage.  The team sits eighth, just ahead of the Prairie Wolves, in scoring defense at 77.8ppg.
