SERIES OUTLOOK
Saturday marks the 54th meeting all-time between the two teams dating back to 1984-85. Buena Vista won eight of the first nine games and leads the overall series, 29-24. Coe, however, has won four straight over BVU, including a 73-56 triumph on Jan. 2. The Beavers have not won against Coe in Cedar Rapids since the 2008-09 campaign.
SCOUTING COEÂ Â Â
The Kohawks began the conference slate at 5-1 but have since gone 3-4. They are coming off a strong road victory at Simpson on Wednesday night, 84-75, which completed the season sweep of the Storm. During conference play, the team has one of the top defenses across the league, allowing only 65.2ppg which is second-best in the A-R-C. Offensively, it is putting up just under 70.0ppg but is among the top-half in the conference in field goal shooting percentage.Jackie Feldt is third in the conference in scoring at 17.2ppg with Madeline Wilkins sitting eighth at 14.1ppg. Felt is also fifth in rebounding6.4rpg. The Kohawks are among the most efficient three-point shooting teams in the league, and Wilkins has had a hand in that, leading the way at 42.7 percent (47-of-110). Feldt is third in field goal percentage overall at better than 50 percent.
ABOUT BUENA VISTA
Buena Vista continues to build off of its youth and has seen improvement over the course of the season. Sophomores
Nicole Lange (8.2ppg) and
Jennifer Schneider (8.2ppg) have given a strong balance to go with senior
Destiny Einerwold (15.6ppg) and junior
Erin Gerke (12.5ppg). Einerwold ranks third overall in the league in scoring and fourth during A-R-C play. Schneider is hauling in a team-leading 5.4rpg and sits third on the squad with 31 steals. Gerke is the leader in assists (75) and steals (46). Einerwold is second in steals (33) and is among the nation's best in free-throw shooting. She is 21st in total attempts and 12th in total makes. As a team, the Beavers are 40th in both. The team has struggled to be consistent shooting the ball, coming in at just 36.8 percent, and averaging 60.2ppg. Â

The team will play its final game inside Siebens Fieldhouse on Wednesday night, February 19, by hosting Central College at 5:30 p.m. It will also be the final home game for seniors
