SERIES OUTLOOK
It'll be the 43rd all-time meeting when the two teams take the floor on Wednesday night. The Prairie Wolves have won the last three contests, including a 99-74 victory in what was the conference opener for BVU. The Beavers won 11 straight from 2001-2009 and are 6-2 against NWU inside Siebens Fieldhouse since the start of the 2000 campaign. The first-ever meeting was back in 1982-83 and was an 80-72 victory for BVU.
SCOUTING NEBRASKA WESLEYAN
The Prairie Wolves are looking to snap a current seven-game losing streak after starting conference play at 2-0. During the current skid the team has allowed over 100 points four times and reached 70 points just once over the last five. The team's last win came back on December 7 against the University of Dubuque (95-85). Caitlin Navratil continues to shine and lead the way, sitting atop the conference in scoring at 23.3ppg and is the only player in the league turning in at least 20.0ppg. She's fourth in the league in both field goal and free-throw percentage and is fifth in three-point makes per contest. McKenzie Teten has provided a boost of the bench as she is second on the team in scoring at 9.9 and in steals with 36. As a team, NWU is shooting just under 40 percent from the field and averaging 72.0ppg for the year. It is grabbing 32 rebounds per game and is being out-rebounded by nearly 17 per night.
